FlyLady revisited

I'm ashamed to say that Flylady has been banished from our house for a few years. But I am ready to welcome her back! I know I'm suppose to start with baby steps, but I'm trying to get a lot done with out letting myself get overwhelmed.

I'm also trying to figure out how to help my kids with their chores. In checking out the Flylady website, they recommended www.housefairy.org . Is anyone familiar with this program? They charge money to get the packet and are very vague about program details. It's not a lot of money, but it still makes me leary.

I'm always at a loss on how to help my kids with their chores. Sometimes I think they have too many chores, but at the same time I cant imagine cutting back on them - they need to learn all these things (bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/dishes, laundry, family rooms). So please let me know of any good ideas, books, programs, etc . . .

Anyone else have experience w/ starting over with Flylady? I've started listening to their podcasts - hoping that will help me stay focused every day.

I took some good parenting classes from Merrilee Boyack at education week. Her book is:
The Parenting Breakthrough: A Real-Life Plan to Teach Your Kids to Work, Save Money, and Be Truly Independent.

I borrowed it from my neighbor and thought it had a lot of good ideas. Good luck!
