So my best friend just got a cell phone and so when i saw it i went home and told my mom that she got one. I asked if i could have one and of course she said no. I asked why i coulden't have one and she said "there is no point in having one at your age, what are you gonna use it for?" I couldent answer. I agree with you mom, kids are going wild with cell phones. I don't need one. I'll wait.

I got a good reason. When your out with your friends on wild adventures, your mother can always contact you whenever. or you know when she's late picking you up for something, you can call her a billion times. oh and it's a very nice place to store all of your friends' numbers so that you can contact them. and you don't need to give your number out to your friends because they'll just run up your texting and minutes. keep giving them your home number, even if they think it's your cell. seriously, until this last year (my senior year) that was all I used my phone for. and I think I got my first cell phone that I shared with Seth in... 6th or 7th grade. Again, only used it to talk to family, and that is still it's main purpose. haha good luck!
